Ripped From The Headlines - Another Story of Abuse - How Will These Children Overcome Such Horror

Another harrowing story ripped from the headlines. Imagine the lives of these four children living in captivity in the cab of a truck being forced to sleep in one bed with no links to the outside world. Daily abuse is what they endured for six long years. These two monsters drove a semi-truck for a living traveling all over while these innocent children were in the back unknown to the world.

Invisible Children - How can this be. They were denied everything a child should have and were abused daily - beaten, sexually abused, burned! Someone along the way must have known. These children were lost in the system some how. This is the pattern that is emerging in our country. Children flying under the radar as the silence is deafening!!!

Even though the abuse is over, these children face a lifetime of fighting for their lives, trying to reclaim what was taken away from them. They were given a life sentence for a crime that they did not commit. What does the future look like to them now? What is the reality? They may never recover. Our beautiful children are being stripped down when they should be protected and built up.

How do we change this narrative?

We fight for change, stronger policies that protect our children. Awareness is key, and breaking the silence when you see a child in need. DO NOT LOOK AWAY -

Many people think that someone else will probably step forward so I do not have to. This is a HUGE misconception. Everyone must due their part - Mandated Reporters!

Please always be aware of your surroundings, and be willing to step up and rise to the occasion. Our children need us to be their eyes and ears.

I will continue to post these stories until change happens, awareness reaches new heights and our youth are safe.

Be that voice who saves a child.

Florida AG: Georgia duo charged after 4 children trapped in ‘rolling prison’ for 6 years

Florida law enforcement officials have arrested and charged two people accused of abusing and neglecting four children who were kept inside the sleeper cab of a commercial semi-truck for more than six years.

Tamra Marshon Stewart, 37, of Jacksonville, and Keysha Monique Epps, 51, of Atlanta, Georgia, face multiple felony charges filed in Orange County.

Investigators say that between January 2020 and April 2026, Epps worked as a commercial truck driver running routes from Atlanta to Miami, making regular stops across Florida, including Orlando.

During this period, Epps and Stewart acted as the primary caregivers for four children who lived with them full-time inside the truck. All four children were forced to share a single bunk.

According to the official investigation, the children were denied formal schooling, adequate food, proper hygiene, and basic medical care. Two of the children sustained severe burn injuries that went untreated, resulting in permanent scarring. After being removed from the defendants’ custody, one child was diagnosed with a sexually transmitted infection.
