Women's History Month - Stepping into MARCH as WE Celebrate Achievements and Sacrifices

Women’s History Month March 2026

We honor the achievements, sacrifices and societal contributions of American women, stemming from a 1987 Congressional designation. Originating from a 1911 International Women’s Day. This month-long celebration highlights progress in equality, education labor and awareness.

March was chosen to coincide with International Women’s Day on March 8th. Celebrating women around the globe for all their hard work and determination to succeed in business and personal successes.

This is a Global Connection - as we Celebrate.

We all have women in history that have spoken to us and sparking our own internal passion to step UP and achieve our goals, wishes and dreams.

These are just a few quotes from women who have helped shape the Modern Woman of today.

I want to acknowledge a few women in History that have sparked my passion, humanity and dreams of adventure. Through all of their works these women have evolved into a place where their footprints have firmly been planted in such a historic way, paving the road for future generations.

Mother Teresa - A Nobel Peace Prize winner - Famous Quote: Spread love everywhere you go and if you can’t feed a hundred people then just feed one

Princess Diana - “The People’s Princess” left a legacy of compassion and relatability through h er candid words of love, motherhood and humanitarian work. Her most iconic quote: Carry out a random act of kindness, with no expectation of reward, safe in the knowledge that one day someone might do the same for you.

Maya Angelou - American memoirist and essayist - Poet and Civil Rights Activist - through her works and strong words she changed the away America thought. Her words were powerful, profound and spoke the ultimate TRUTH. Famous Quote: I’ve learned that people will forget what you said, people will forget what you did, but people will never forget how you made them feel.

Rosa Parks - was a pioneering American civil rights activist known as the “mother of the modern civil rights movement” She is famous known for refusing to give up her seat to a white passenger on a segregated bus, standing for her own freedom and the freedom of all. She was a powerhouse of strength, resilience and tenacity. Quote: I would like to be remembered as a person who wanted to be free… so other people would also be free.

Amelia Earhart - was a pioneering American aviator, famous as the first woman to fly solo across the Atlantic Ocean. She was a fierce advocate for women’s equality. Most famous quote: The most difficult thing is the decision t act, the rest is merely tenacity. The fears are paper tigers.

She was a pioneering spirit as she spoke on adventure, courage and women’s independence.

These are just a few women who have inspired me over the years, and there are many many more.

Let’s celebrate women in history and thank them for helping to mold future women of excellence.
