RED FLAGS - When the System Fails Our Children - ALERT - We Have A Broken System

Another devastating story ripped from the headlines. Baby Emmanuel Haro missing presumed dead by the hands of his own father Jake Haro. His mother also a willing part in this ongoing saga as she continues to support her husband. Domestic violence holds many prisoners.

They were both charged with murder.

Jake Haro's criminal history

Emmanuel's father, Jake Haro, has a criminal history and court records show he was on probation at the time of his son's disappearance in a separate child cruelty case back in 2018. 

"We have to understand what you're dealing with is an experienced child abuser that is aware of a previous case and that is aware of evidentiary things that we are certainly concerned with," Sheriff Dicus said. "We have to make sure that every single thing, no matter what is told to us or what we discover in terms of evidence, is the right thing. And we followed up extensively." 

The Riverside County DA said the victim of the 2018 case is still alive, "but she is permanently bedridden. She has permanent damage… that is a result of long-term child abuse."

Another horrific story ripped from the news pages! How can this be, and how did the justice system fail these children. Once again here we are, reading a tragic story of child abuse and death that could have been prevented.

Emmanuel Haro who was just a baby, goes missing. The stories of his parents do not add up, and his mother is sporting a black eye! There are other children in the home, and not that long ago there was a wellness check on a toddler because of suspected abuse.

The father Jake Haro has a criminal history of child abuse and was even on probation at the time when his young son went missing. This man permanently damaged his young baby daughter back in 2018. She is bedridden for the rest of her life due to these injuries inflicted on her by Jake. One of the hardest things to wrap my head around beside this horrific tragedy, is the fact that the judge in this case gave him a slap on the wrist! NO jail time, only probation. This should have been automatic jail time for this monster posing as a parent. How can this be. Did the judge feel this child wasnt damaged enough? Or, was her life not worth anything? It is infurating to think that this is the reality of our court system. A man brutalizes a baby and walks away. Jake is a professional abuser! He abuses his women and his children.

What the judge did here was giving him the green light to abuse again, and this time it resulted in a death. The judge should be put in jail in my opinion, for doing all of these children such a disservice. Our court system is failing our children, and we will continue to lose them until there is changes made in policies and procedures. There needs to be stronger penalties for crimes against our youth. Children are innocent and need to be protected to the fullest extent. This case unfortunately proves quite the opposite.

I will continue to share stories like these to bring awareness to what is happening, and how our children are being abused. This may make people feel uncomfortable, because of the topic matter, but that is the point. Feel Uncomfortable - Let the Reality Sink In - Then take the next step - Do something about it.

Share this important article. Do not be afraid to say, “THIS IS WRONG” I will stand with the children. Step up and push for changes in your own communities! If we all continue to do nothing, then NOTHING changes. We will continue to lose these children one by one.

Every day I read the news, and there is another sweet face floating across the screen. Their life is over at such a young age, and most of the stories share how it was their own parents or family members that took their life. There are always WARNING SIGNS and RED FLAGS, but people do not act on them. They wait until after the violence happens to come forward. I cannot say it enough - See Something Say something. If something is going on in your family, neighborhood or schools, step up. We need to save the lives of our youth.

Take some time to learn about your local laws in your community and see how you can help. Even if it is in a small way, everything matters. Our society is so busy that people are not paying attention to their surroundings. We must be the eyes and ears of our youth and extend that helping hand whenever possible. People will not hesitate to call animal control on someone who is abusing their pet, so why not do the same for our kids?

Time to Step UP.

Baby Emmanuel’s body still has not been found to date. Supposedly, in jail Jake told an unknown informant that he killed his son and put him in a black trash bag, and threw him in the garbage can. They have not confirmed that story, but what a kick in the stomach that is to read. Imagine this child being thrown away like garbage. It would be the first child dumped in a can.

That is the SAD REALITY.
