COURAGE - A POEM OF HOPE AND FAITH - WE ALL HAVE A STORY

        WE are all faced with battles in our lives and they mold us into the best version of ourselves. It is not an easy journey to get here, but with inner strength and courage - the battle will be won.                 

COURAGE… Faced with fear as a tear drop slides down your

 Glistening cheek flush from the heat exploding inside Your broken heart… I am down on my knees…

With daunting words echoing in your head, “Where do I go from Here?    How do I break the walls of my years?” … Haunting me, my life sentence set before me – the jail cell called life.

Tormented soul feeling the curse bestowed upon myself…  Guilt, loss, pain, endless rain dripping from my very being. This essence of darkness raining on my parade, in which I should be dancing in the light, but no I weep…

Bound and chained I am - but I must find that button, the one screaming “release me into the light of day”…  Making all this rain go far away, bringing me back to the newness of the

 Morning dew, as I have so much, I intend to do…

 I scream “COURAGE” once and for all, now it’s time to break

 Down that wall, the one I hate with all might, the WALL that Has stolen my light…   

 I am determined to be on my way with courage and faith to lead The way….

 Like a blind soldier I step forth out of the darkness, time to embark

 Onto a new and full-filling life, no more fear of the darkness - insidious night….

 Heal my soul that is what I beg to see, a bright new shining ME

 A beacon of light for all the world to see.. I am finally FREE…
