A NOTE TO THE PAST - TIME TO STEP FORWARD

 We have all been through things in our lives and they affect us, change us and mold us to the person that we are meant to be. Some of the lessons are excruciating and difficult and others are like a breath of fresh air giving us that “Ah Ha” moment. The reality to all of this is that “LIFE HAPPENS” and it is what we do with it that make a difference. So, as you take a peek at the past, do not be afraid as it cannot change the person that you are, right now. It has shaped you, and molded you, so even if there were parts that were hurtful and painful - take a moment - sigh - say Thank you and move forward. The best adventures still are waiting for you!

One of the best pieces of advice that I have received is this - it is simple and effective, and I always live by it.

ALWAYS MOVE FORWARD

Hello PAST it’s me peeking through that window

Not really wanting to see…  At times you call out to Me wreaking havoc on my memories…  

Clouding the good with all your webs of deceit not letting me breathe or think clearly, I need to retreat…

The past is where I do not want to be, time to Rest that is the key!

It serves ME no purpose now – only to show ME where I do NOT want to go   - Open the window and release that freak show…

 My note to you my past is this, I lived, I learned, I cried, I broke, I used you as a steppingstone to where I truly belong…

 I need no reminders of my failures and strife, as it is time to live a good life.

So, RIP my old friend and never show your face again… I thank you for all I have learned as I embrace the future cannot wait for my turn...

 It is time to be let free, break the chains of past misery.

 Here I go stepping into my new life, leaving it all on the wall of my past, scripted for only my soul to see - making peace with this natural disaster - freedom eternally
