Woman of Impact - Class of 2023 Business West Magazine - Western Massachusetts

The team at BusinessWest created the Women of Impact awards in 2018 as a way to honor the women in the region that are making an impact. When selecting a name for this award, the decision was made to use Women of Impact because there are so many different ways to make an impact and create positive change in the world. Since its inception, the women honored through this program have been successful, inspiring, and most importantly, impactful! We are certain this trend will remain true with the 2023 Women of Impact.

Women of Impact - BusinessWest

“I buried my past. I took it all and said, ‘I’m not going to speak of it, I’m not going to think of it.’ And I fought every single day of my life not to bring it up, not to focus on that pain. I was driven by that.”… Lisa Zarcone

I am so honored to be a part of this incredible group of women. We are all powerful in our own right!

As I step forward I will continue to raise my voice for awareness and change. I have shared my personal story, “The Unspoken Truth a Memoir”, going deep into the world of an abused child, and showing the world what it looks like RIGHT IN THE MOMENT. My story is raw, profound and impactful. All children deserve better.

Now I will be sharing my mother’s story, “The Book of Joann”, and this will give the readers an intimate view of the life and times of my mother, and her long hard battle with mental illness. (release date coming soon)

I became a child and mental health advocate because I wanted to share our pain for purpose. These two stories are intertwined on all levels.

I am a voice for the voiceless. Here me ROAR!

“I was able to find healing and forgiveness because I put myself in their shoes to understand the best I could.” Lisa Zarcone

Embrace the Journey,

God Bless,
