Lisa has conducted many workshops geared towards these strong subjects and she shares positive ways to work towards healing and forgiveness.

Lisa is a voice for the voiceless.  Her vigorous career includes countless podcast interviews, TV Appearances, Radio Interviews & DJ Spotlights, as well as, multiple newspaper articles.

The Unspoken Truth A Memoir – A Child’s Story – An Adults Journey Towards Healing

A wife, mother of three, grandmother of three, Lisa took all of her past experiences of her trauma and abuse and wrote a powerful, raw and detailed memoir of her life.  She shares her story through the eyes of a child, giving the reader a first-hand view of abuse through the child’s perspective.  This is a profound look at her life as it has unfolded.

Lisa gained her voice by validating her story, and she healed through the process.  By looking at the views and prospective of the people in her life that hurt and abused her, she found understanding and forgiveness.     It was a difficult journey to get to this point in her life, but she dug deep into her past and sifted through the rubble piece by piece.

Lisa is passionate about advocating, raising awareness and pushing for change!

At this time, she is advocating for mental health programing in our school systems, because our youth need so much help and support.   She is also working on book two, “The Book of Joann”, this is her mother’s story and their journey together.   A look into Joann’s world will show how mental illness and abuse is generational, and without understanding and awareness we cannot break the cycle.

Lisa travels far and wide, whether it be by social media or state to state, sharing her story, raising awareness and educating others.   Too many children have fallen through the cracks of a very flawed system, and Lisa hopes to be a big part of change, breaking the silence once and for all.

Her motto is “Embrace The Journey” because you never know what will fall into your path, and every moment is a valuable lesson.
