CELEBRATION DAY! 3 YEARS AGO TODAY "THE UNSPOKEN TRUTH A MEMOIR" WAS RELEASED
Today is a day to celebrate! The Unspoken Truth A Memoir - released October 7, 2016!!
I am amazed how quickly time has gone by and how far this story has traveled. As the MA National Ambassador & Regional Director for the NE Area for Naasca (National Association of Adult Survivors of Child Abuse), I use my story and title as a platform to speak publicly about child abuse/safety and mental health illness/stigmas.
I will continue to raise my voice to bring education and awareness to child safety, mental illness, bullying, suicide prevention, and domestic violence! They are all bound together by circumstance. The more we talk about it and push for change, we have the ability to make things happen. Power in numbers!!!! Standing Strong together.
These taboo subjects are hard to talk about, but people need to take off the blinders because abuse is still happening out there in the world and it is up to us to stop it!
I am a voice for the voiceless.
I am proud to say that three years ago I stood up and shared my “Unspoken Truth” and life has never been the same, it has changed for the better.
I am free of the past, and I want others to experience that same freedom. I have healed.
If my story and words can touch someone on such a deep level, that they feel the strength to stand up and break the silence, then I have done something special!
We help one another along. We help others heal. We support those in need.
My story has traveled around the world, and the connections that I have made have been priceless!!!
I will never be silenced again.
Embrace the Journey,
